The book cover and logo developed for this projected were designed from original photographs taken of the campus before the the hospital was built in 1960. This image and logo were used to throughout the 50th Anniversary year to publicize the event.
Veterans served by the VA Palo Alto campus were interviewed and shared their memories of war, service memorabilia, photographs and stories of how the Veterans Administration has helped them over the years.
